Summary: Following an out-of-court settlement the Düsseldorf Local Division allowed QIAGEN to withdraw its infringement action and the bioMérieux defendants to withdraw their counterclaims for revocation, declared the proceedings closed and cancelled the oral hearing listed for 3 September 2026. No cost decision was required as each party bears its own costs. 50% of the court fees were ordered reimbursed: EUR 7,500 to the claimant and EUR 15,000 in total to the defendants. The value in dispute was set at EUR 1,000,000 for the infringement action and for the counterclaims each.
