Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling an obstruction light (2), wherein a receiver (4) cooperates with a switching device (S) for the obstruction light (3). According to the invention, when receiving a first predefined signal (DF17 - 30,000 ft), the receiver (4) controls the switching device in such a way that the obstruction light (3) is switched off.
