The invention relates to a structural part (15) for a frame (11) of a vehicle (10), wherein the structural part (15) can be produced as a cast part (52) in a casting mould (50), and the casting mould (50) reproduces the three-dimensional outer shape of the structural part (15). It is provided according to the invention that the structural part (15) is formed by an in particular self-expanding foam resin (20).
