Make UPC case data usable. The Unified Patent Court is more than three years old and its decisions are public, yet answering 'where should I file?' or 'what's the PI grant rate in Munich?' still means asking colleagues for anecdotes or reading decisions one by one. We turn the public record into answers you can filter, compare and cite.
The data, plainly
Every public UPC decision since the court opened in 2023, classified into structured outcomes (infringed, revoked, granted, dismissed). 2,800+ cases. 2,400+ decisions. 140+ judges. 250+ law firms. Updated regularly.
What we add
The court's register lets you look up one case at a time. The questions that matter run across cases: how a division rules, how long it takes, how a judge or an opponent has fared before. We read every decision, record its outcome, and link it to the parties, judges, law firms and patents involved, so those questions take minutes instead of days.
The company
UPClytics is built by a small, independent team in Toronto, Canada, and London, UK. We are not owned by or affiliated with any law firm, litigation funder, or party that appears in the data. Before the UPC, we spent years building analytics for US patent transactions and for reexamination and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). When the Unified Patent Court opened and the same questions went unanswered in Europe, we built the product we wanted to use. We work with clients across Europe and North America.
