Why this works
The public registry is a per-case lookup tool: you put in a case number, you get one record. Every question worth paying for is cross-case. We classified UPC decisions into structured outcomes; competitors mostly have not, because the UPC is too new for them to have prioritized it. Outcome extraction is the unlock.
The company
UPClytics is built by a small, independent team in Toronto, Canada, and London, UK. We are not owned by or affiliated with any law firm, litigation funder, or party that appears in the data; the numbers fall where they fall. Before the UPC, we spent years building patent-litigation analytics for US PTAB practice. When the Unified Patent Court opened and the same questions were going unanswered in Europe, we built the product we wanted to exist. We sell across Europe and North America; the product lives wherever the court does.
