The invention relates to a device for the treatment of water, in particular a filter device. The device has a cartridge (1) which has a container (2) for receiving treatment means for water, particularly for receiving filter means, and a connection head (10) arranged on the container (2). In addition, a connection element (40) is provided which has a recess (50) for the connection head (10). At least one locking shaft (70a, b) is provided with which the connection head (10) can be fixed in the connection element (40). The locking shaft (70a, b) is rotatably mounted and can be rotated from a locking position to an unlocking position and back again. The invention also relates to a cartridge (1) with a recess in the connection head (10).
