The Dusseldorf Local Division granted a law firm, as a member of the public, access under R. 262.1(b) RoP to the written pleadings and evidence in the concluded proceedings UPC_CFI_7/2023 (Kaldewei v Bette), holding that a law firm qualifies as the public and that after final conclusion of the case its general interest outweighs the Art. 45 UPCA interests. Access was refused to the summons and the minutes of the oral hearing, which are not pleadings or evidence, and to the claimant's submission of 23 August 2024 with annexes KM-A 1 and KM-A 2 containing confidential customer information; personal data must be redacted.
